OrganiseUs Digital Intensive 2018 - Melbourne!

  • Abbotsford Convent 1 Saint Heliers Street Abbotsford, VIC, 3067 Australia (map)

OrganiseUs Digital Intensive is our flagship annual five-day intensive training program in digital organising skills. It's on March 5-9, 2018, at the Abbotsford Convent, Melbourne.

Come and spend five days learning with the best digital strategists, campaigners and organisers from across Australia, the US and UK. It's for early-career campaigners, or campaigners with more experience looking to broaden their digital skills.

This is a hands on, fun, fail-safe learning environment with a twist. You'll put what you learn into immediate action, running a mock digital campaign scenario throughout the week.

If you work for a non profit, political party, campaign, union, B-corp, social enterprise or business buy your ticket today.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

  • Creating winning campaigns: strategy, tactics and analysing power.

  • Telling compelling stories: excellent email, strategic social media and testing assumptions.

  • Making money: rapid response, digital fundraising and appealing campaigns.

  • Digital organising: Designing and building websites, action pages and email campaigns. Excelling in excel, HTML and CSS.

  • Community organising: Understanding CRMs, segmentation, integration and using digital to create community.

SCHOLARSHIPS

OrganiseUs is serious about diversity. We want to grow digital skills and organising capacity across a diverse sector of our community.

We offer a range of scholarships for people working on localised, marginalised or community campaigns; Indigenous or Torres Strait Islander campaigners; and for folks volunteering or working for a non-profit with an annual turnover of less than $1 million.

Our Oxfam Indigenous and Community Campaigner Scholarship Program are now closed for applications.

AN INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

The OrganiseUs Digital Intensive training curriculum has been compiled by Australia's best trainers, organisers and campaigners. It was originally developed in collaboration with the former New Organizing Institute in Washington, DC, and Campaign Bootcamp in London.
