Tabatha is OrganiseUs Executive Director and has over 20 years’ experience developing engagement, media and communication strategies for progressive non-profits, with over seven years as a daily news and feature journalist.

Tabatha leads our team of communication, digital, creative, campaign, fundraising and engagement specialists, working with nonprofits, unions and organisations on federal, state and localised campaigns.

Formerly, Tabatha worked as Director of Business Development Australia at Change.org and Supporter Communications Manager at the Australian Conservation Foundation. Tabatha sits on the board of Environment Victoria.

Jess is an OrganiseUs Associate and has 19 years’ experience in media, messaging and public affairs.

Jess can help you set strategy and shape public debate. Jess specialises in high stakes media management, training and communication research and has created and delivered daily media wins on a diverse array of campaigns including climate change, mental health, education, youth justice, family violence, workplace relations, infrastructure and human rights.

Formerly, Jess worked as Associate Director at Essential Media Communications and Communications Manager at WWF-Australia. Jess is founding co-director at the Economic Media Centre and sits on the board of the Human Rights Law Centre and Fair Agenda.

edie shepherd

Edie is a proud Wiradjuri and Noongar woman. Edie works as both OrganiseUs Communications and Media Associate, and senior organiser in the First Nations Justice Team at GetUp!, where she builds the skills, capacity and collective power of First Nations people. 

Edie is a media, communications and organising specialist with a focus on telling human rights and social justice stories. Edie is a founding Board Member of the Progressive Tech Network.

Edie has previously worked as an organiser in the trade union movement, running Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organising and political capacity building programs in Victoria.

ULA MAJEWSKI

Ula is an OrganiseUs Associate and has 13 years’ experience delivering and supporting change-making campaigns across Australia, Timor-Leste and the Pacific region on climate justice, women’s rights, forest protection, disaster preparedness and land rights.

Ula can help you with strategy design, communications, campaign brand creation, event planning, digital, media management, facilitation and training.

Formerly, Ula worked as Influencing, Advocacy and Campaigns Advisor and as Senior Campaigner on Climate Justice at Oxfam Australia.
